Ha´apai archipelago. Tonga Islands. Adventure Travel
This archipelago is part of the Tonga Islands. It’s located in Polynesia, in one if the most remote places on Earth, where anyone would like to get lost and maybe never come back again.
There are 68 islets, most of which are low coral or atoll islands, except for some volcanic islands including the active volcanoes of Tofua and Kao. These islands are mostly uninhabited.
This idyllic place is perfect for some amazing activities, like swimming with whales during the summer time, getting lost in a deserted island as long as one wishes, or simply live the unique and warm atmosphere as well as the kindness of the inhabitants in this magical place.
When you reach Ha’apai, you will find that time has stopped. There are no traffic jams, no lines: just peace and tranquility. Captain Cook landed on Lifuka Island and now travelers consider the Ha’apai group to be Tonga’s best-kept secret – one they hope will never be discovered by mass tourism. If you have ever dreamed about small, palm-fringed islands untouched by the rest of the world, these islands are for you.
I invite you to get to know my book, 10 original trips to enjoy Earth, where you will find practical information, for example, about how to swim with whales. I recomend you visit my web-blog: www.adventuretravel.travel
